BX2200 ACTUAL 3ph Weight

Would some of You Fellas please share with me the approxomate weight that You have used on the 3ph?

I am just curious as I know it is rated for 680lbs.24 inches out.

I would also like to know if you used counterweights with this implements.

Tom,I believe the BX22 and the BX2200 are rated the same so here goes.

I outlined in another thread that I (stupidly)lifted and carted off a planter box with 15 cubic feet of soil within, using a set of 3ph forks. The tires and the HST were not happy, but the 3ph picked it up, and the tractor moved it up a sandy hill.

My 4100 can routinely lift two 55 gallon drums filled with water using a 3ph platform that weighs 175 lbs., that total lift is approaching 1100 lbs.
I used about 325 pounds of counter weight in the FEL to keep things balanced out.

The BX will lift the same load but does not handle as well, I think because there is more lateral "roll" in those fat cushy tires.
My 4100 has a set of load range 'E' truck tires on the rear that are stiff enough to support the weight of the tractor with '0' air pressure, so those babies don't roll at all.
But on balance, the BX has so much rubber on the ground that I seldom use 4wd, where the 4100 is in 4wd 90 percent of the time.

The BX will easily lift a single barrel of water, a 650 pound load, and safely operate without any additional FEL counterweight. so I'm guessing 850 or 900 is do-able, providing the tires are pumped up and there is some FEL counterweight. ....
